Welcome to StatCat!

Abstracting 'real world' scenarios is one of the keys to success in an introductory statistics course.  This site aims to help you understand that by helping improve your ability to take descriptors of research scenarios, break them down into their variable(s) and pinpoint their data types.  Another option is to help exercise the ability to read scenarios and decide the 'hypothesis test type' for given scenarios.
